Green Ceramic Machining: Determination of the Recommended Feed Rate for Y-TZP Milling

Manufacturing of advanced ceramic parts exhibiting complex geometries is laborious and expensive. Traditionally, the machining carried out on a so-called ‘green ceramic’: compact composed powder held with help binder. This difficulty due not only to composition material, but also lack methods that determine optimal parameters. The goal this paper apply method based ductile material behavior feed rate working range ensure quality. Indeed, previous study demonstrated limits in determining cutting speed.
